What Remains When Love Lies (4078) - MICHELE PETRELLI | Contemporary Artworks

.

MICHELE PETRELLI
There is no one here. There is nothing to elevate, nothing to heal.
The truth is implacable. Everything that happens is governed by blind necessity.
The Universe is not hostile: It is neutral. What manifests must dissolve.
This is not nihilism. We are the Field: amoral Consciousness.
Art does not heal. It holds up the implacable mirror of our illusion.

What Remains When Love Lies (4078)

What Remains When Love Lies

Original painting by Michele Petrelli ©
For those who calculate, sacrificing the true well-being of others for their own gain.

There are bonds that do not nourish, but bind. There are embraces that neither protect nor heal, but hold just tight enough to keep you from leaving — never fully. In this scene, bodies blur and hold each other up, but without strength: figures clinging to others to avoid sinking alone, unable to walk on their own.
