Three Against the Rules

ITA: Tre donne agiscono contro le regole, cercando di piegare la realtà al loro volere con una determinazione implacabile. Manipolatrici esperte, abili nel calcolo, rimettono sulla scacchiera un Re già caduto, come se potessero riscrivere una partita ormai persa. Ma la verità resiste, e ogni mossa fuori dalle regole si paga. Sempre. Una perdita dopo l’altra, in un ciclo infinito che genera solo disordine — ma solo all’interno delle loro esistenze spente. Per quanto si possa essere abili, negli scacchi le mosse non sono infinite. Alla fine, probabilmente, tutti perdiamo qualcosa. Ma alcuni — quelli che non hanno mai giocato davvero — perdono tutto. E chi ha fatto giocare gli altri al proprio posto, o ha lasciato cadaveri e bugie lungo il cammino, subisce la sconfitta più dura.

ENG: Three women act against the rules, trying to bend reality to their will with relentless determination. Skilled manipulators, calculating and precise, they put a fallen King back on the board as if they could rewrite a game already lost. But the truth endures, and every move outside the rules comes at a cost. Always. Loss after loss, in an endless cycle that generates nothing but chaos — but only within their own extinguished lives. No matter how skilled one may be, in chess the moves are not infinite. In the end, we all probably lose something. But some — those who have never truly played — lose everything. And those who have made others play in their place, or left corpses and lies along the way, suffer the harshest defeat.
